GHANA HOPES TO OVERCOME GROUP STAGE HOODOO AT U20 WOMEN’S WORLD CUP

Ghana U20 women\’s coach, Ben Focou is optimistic about the chances of the Black Princesses’
progression beyond the group stage at the U20 Women\’s World Cup.

The Black Princesses have been drawn in a tough group alongside USA, Japan and the Netherlands in
Group D of the Costa Rica 2022 FIFA U20 Women’s World Cup.

According to Focou, the technical team is working hard with the players to at least get past the group
stage for first time despite haven qualified for their 6th consecutive World Cup.

Ghana will take on USA in Group D opener on Thursday (Today) by 6pm before battling Japan and
Netherlands in the Final group games.
