YABATECH RADIO 89.3 FM, Lagos is the official campus radio of Yaba College of Technology (Yabatech) nestled on campus and providing quality programming for its audience in music, sports, relationship, work life, education and much more. The station is on a mission to produce radio content that is informative, engaging, entertaining, empowering and inspiring. Yabatech Radio operates clearly on the frequency modulation (FM) 89.3 Kilo Hertz and geographically covers part of Lagos State.

The radio station popularly known as 89.3FM YABATECH RADIO officially came to life under the administration of Engr. Femi Omokungbe as Rector, Yaba College of Technology.
The radio station was established primarily to serve the under listed purposes.
1. Serve the YABATECH community and its neighboring communities through local programme development, exposition of local talents, music, news, weather, and market information as well as giving a voice to the populace.
2. Satisfying the affiliated department’s need for teaching and research. That is, serving as a training ground for students of mass communication department of the college.
