The 44th president of the United States of America, Barack Obama, has taken to his verified Instagram account to mourn the death of his grandmother, Sarah Obama.
His grandmother, fondly referred to as Mama Sarah died at 99 in western Kenya, her daughter told AFP on Monday.
Obama expressed comfort in the fact that his grandmother lived long enough to witness global changes but most importantly, one of her grandsons got elected to the United States presidency.
