The national assembly joint committee on health has asked the minister of health to suspend further action on the plans to utilize the 10 billion naira released to them by the minister of finance, to fund production of covid-19 vaccine.
The committee took the decision after it expressed dissatisfaction of the ministry of health Osagie Ehanire, on how the money will be utilized.
The minister stated at the meeting with members of the committee that the money was part of the agreement between the federal government and a foreign partner may baker PLC. for the production of the bio vaccines.
