Governor Adegboyega Oyetola of Osun State has reappointed billionaire businesswoman, Dr Folorunso Alakija as Chancellor of Osun State University for another five years.
A statement by the University’s Public Relation Officer, Mr Adesoji Ademola on Monday, made available to newsmen stated that her reappointment was based on her track record as a lover of education, philanthropist of note and above all a resourceful education manager as demonstrated during her first tenure in office.
The statement disclosed that the re-appointment letter was personally signed by the Executive Governor, Mr. Adegboyega Oyetola, stating that he is delighted to re-appoint Alakija as the Chancellor of the Institution for the second term of five years beginning from 9th of March, 2021.
